Multicultural Seniors Carnivale 2020

Thank YOU to our wonderful clients, guests, hardworking care workers, volunteers and staff for making our 2020 Multicultural Seniors Carnivale the best one yet! On Wednesday, 12 Februrary 2020 in sponsorship with Randwick Council we celebrated our Seniors and our diversity with great conversations, singing, dancing, delicious food and gorgeous views at the Prince Henry Centre, Little Bay.

The event was attended by 180 guests from approximately 18 different language backgrounds, the majority who avail Aged Care Services from Sydney MCS, including our social support groups which are core to our aged care offering. We offer specific social support for frail aged, Dementia and groups in Chinese, Spanish, Polish, Maltese and Arabic.

We had three wonderful speakers eloquently describe their own background and the strength of multiculturalism in Australia; MP Michael Daley, Mayor of Randwick Danny Said and Mayor of Waverley Paula Masselos. Michael Daley MP Randwick City Council Waverley Council thank you for taking time out of your busy schedules to attend our event.

The Carnivale was an opportunity to celebrate their contribution to Australian society and allow them to connect with other Seniors without language barriers.
